Marian Fauber Weaver of Fishersville, Virginia, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in the Hospice of the Shenandoah.

She was born on June 27, 1925, in Montebello, Virginia, the daughter of Donald Gordon Fauber and Russell Coffey Fauber.

She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lexington, Virginia. Marian was a member of the DAR and the Red Hat Society. Marian spent much of her life in Florida enjoying all of the things it had to offer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Stanley Weaver Jr.;a sister, Mildred Fauber Cannon of Waynesboro, and her husband, Carl E. Cannon.

She is survived by a brother, William Lewis Bradley of Stuarts Draft;two sons, John Stanley Weaver and his wife, Karen Dries Weaver of Diggs, Virginia, and Donald Fauber Weaver and his wife, Polly Deaver Weaver, of Waynesboro;four grandchildren, Tracy Weaver Straight and her husband, Chris, Amanda Weaver Smith and her husband, Jacob, Jennifer Weaver West and her husband, Mark, and Diana Weaver Hicks and her husband, Chris;two nieces of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pamela Weaver and Ellen Weaver;a niece, Patti Russell Parsons and her husband, Tom;and nine great-grandchildren. WEAVER, John Stanley Jr., 87, of Lexington, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in the Kendal Health & Wellness Center. Mr. Weaver was born June 2, 1915 in Huntington, W.Va. and was a son of the late John Stanley Weaver, Sr. and Margaret Wallingford Weaver. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lexington and was retired from Columbia Gas Company. He attended and graduated from Marshall University on a full football scholarship in Huntington, W. Va. He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and the Fairfield Ruritan Club. He was a 50 year member of the Mountain City Masonic Temple, a Kentucky Colonel. He was on the Board of Commerce for the State of Virginia from 1985 - 1988 and was an Honorary member of the Waynesboro Game & Fish Protective Association. Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife, Marian Fauber Weaver of Lexington; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Stanley, III and Karen Dries Weaver of Mathews County, Donald Fauber and Polly Deaver Weaver of Waynesboro; one brother, Dr. Glenn Weaver of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003 in the Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery in Stuarts Draft with the Rev. Stan Pigue officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home but the family will receive friends at the residence at any time. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
