109. Elizabeth B. Coffey was born on 30 July 1776. She lived with her son Silas M. Green in Cherokee Co., NC on 1 June 1850. Elizabeth died in Greene Co., IN on 5 March 1868.
It has not yet been determined which of these two men was her actual husband. It is not believed that she married twice.

Elizabeth B. Coffey and John "Moccasin" Greene were married. John "Moccasin" Greene was born in 1762 in Mitchell Co., NC. John died in Mars Hill, Madison Co., NC on 2 June 1853 and was buried at

This traditional death date is likely incorrect in as much as Elizabeth was married to second husband Roper before John's death. Other possibilities are: John and Elizabeth divorced, or the Elizabeth Coffey who married Mr. Roper was not the daughter of Reuben and Sarah Scott Coffey.
