Nancy Coffey and Joel Anderson Dyer were married in 1809 in Burke Co., NC. Joel Anderson Dyer, son of Josiah Dyer and Sarah Whittington, was born on 10 April 1790 in Wilkes Co., NC. Joel died in Putnam Co., IN on 19 June 1850 and was buried at Cloverdale Cemetery in Cloverdale, Putnam Co., IN in June 1850 .⁴⁰⁸
