116. Benjamin Coffey⁴¹⁰ was born circa 1790 in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC. Benjamin died in Owen Co., IN in 1843.

Benjamin has been called Joel Benjamin and Benjamin Reubin by some researchers, but no documents have been found.

Benjamin Coffey and Exie Saphronia Stepp were married in 1816. Exie Saphronia Stepp was born circa 1805 in North Carolina. She appeared in the census on 11 October 1850 in Monroe Co., IN.⁴¹¹ She lived with her son Jesse in Gentry Co., MO on 23 August 1870. Exie died in Alanthus Grove, Gentry Co., MO in June 1876.
