ROSELAND-Mrs. Eliza M. Campbell, 85, widow of Rufus N. Campbell, died yesterday at the home of her son, Herman Campbell, in Roseland, where she had made her home.

She was born in Nelson County March 24, 1895, a daughter of the late Henry Coffey and Millie Ann Campbell Coffey.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Love.

In addition to her son she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Maryland (Edith) Campbell, Mrs. Clinie (Hazel) Fitzgerald and Mrs. Thornton (Juanita) Sprouse all of Roseland, Mrs. Brent (Rachel) Coffey of Afton, Mrs. Charles (Vivian) Birk of Columbus, Pa, and Mrs.. Paul (Barbara) Keller of Hellam, Pa.; one brother, Owen Coffey of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hewitt and Mrs. Eva Coffey, both of Waynesboro; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Mountaintop Christian Church in Love, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Hester, with interment in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Wayne Langford, Charlie Whitesell, Jessie Fitzgerald,, Douglas Campbell, Guy Hoy, Lance Birk, Larry Tyree and David Coffey.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 tonight at Preston Parr Funeral Home in Roseland. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
