LAWSON, PEARL E., age 87, of Morristown, TN. was born August 25, 1919, passed away on April 4, 2007, at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN. She attended other churches in the area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fate Lawson; parents, the Rev. Johnny and Sallie Coffey; brothers, A.T. and Bill Coffey; sister, Iva Ward. She is survived by her children, Annette and Bobby McGinnis of Rogersville, TN., Dean and Geraldine Lawson of Mooresburg, TN., J.W. (Dub) and Susie Lawson of Bean Station, TN., Wilma and Jackie Barnard of Morristown, TN. Several grand and great-grandchildren. Sisters, Velva Warwick of Knoxville TN., Pauline Clement of Morristown, TN., Gynette Soard Denton of Aluchia, FL., Elsa Croucher of Middletown, OH., brother, J.C. Coffey of Middletown, OH. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Lawson Cemetery in the Big Creek Community with the Rev. Leslie (Shorty) Griffle officiating. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren. Arrangements by Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell.
