Emil R. Coffey Sr.

Emil Ray Coffey St., 59, Camdenton, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, Lan, died Sunday at the home. He was born in Missouri and had lived in this area most of his life before moving to Camdenton in 1980.

Mr. Coffey was a printer for Ray Printing Inc., He was an Army veteran. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Corlee Ann Coffey of the home; three sons, Emir R. Coffey Jr., Kansas City, Kan., Charles W. Coffey and Christian Andrew Coffey of the home; seven daughters, Mrs. Cherri Johnson, Salt Lake City, Miss Phyllis Coffey, Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Deborah Becker, Kansas City, and Mrs. Denise Antonini, Phoenixville, Pa., Mrs. Deanna Cummings, Miss Michelle E. Coffey and Leslie Ann Coffey of the home; three brothers, Charles L. Coffey, Highland, Kan., Russell Glen Coffey, Kansas City, Kan., and Paul M. Coffey, Candenton; a sister, Mrs. Ila Lister, Loveland, Colo.; his mother, Mrs. Edity Coffey, Kansas City, Kan.; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Maple Hill Chapel, Kansas City, Kan.; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m Tuesday at the chapel.

Emil Ray Coffey and Edith May Cornell were married. Edith May Cornell was born on 20 May 1933. Edith died on 16 July 1962 at the age of 29 in Wyandotte Co., KS and was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS.31377

Emil Ray Coffey and Corlee Ann Morse were married. Corlee Ann Morse, daughter of Edwin (Edward?) William Morse and Edith Juanita Smith, was born on 27 January 1937 in Livingston Co., MO. Corlee resided with her parents in Columbus Junction, Louisa Co., IA on 16 April 1940. Corlee died in Missouri on 18 April 2009 and was buried at Gladstone, Clay Co., MO on 22 April 2009.31378

Corlee Ann Morse was delivered on Wednesday, January 27 of 1937 at 6:20AM, weighing 7lbs to Edith Juanita Smith and Edwin William Morse, in a farmhouse in Livingston County, MO by Dr. George Morse, uncle of Edwin.

Corlee Ann Morse Coffey died April 18, 2009 at the age of 72 at her home. Services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel with a visitation from 12:00-2:00PM at the funeral home. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.

Preceded in death by her parents Edwin W. Morse, July 9, 1986 age 74, mother Edith J. Morse, July 7, 1995 age 67; brother, Richard Wayne Morse, January 30, 1991 age 47. Her two husbands; Dale Gardner Mateer, November 20, 1975 and Emil Ray Coffey, May 9, 1982 age 58. A special loved one, Loren LaVerne Sheets, January 2, 1995 age 68.

She is survived by two sisters Mary Ann Banks of Winterset, IA and Karen Kay Sloat of Irving, TX.; son Christian Andrew Coffey of Eldorado Spring, MO; 5 daughters, Deborah Lynn Decker of
McHenry, IL.; Deanna Lee Matters of Stockton, MO; Denise Lorriane Prothro of Stockton, MO.; Michelle Lurene Rawdon, Oklahoma City, OK.; Lesley Ann Coffey of Camdenton, MO. 19 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Corlee helped raise four step-children, Cherry Lynn Reuter, Emil Ray Coffey, Jr., Phyllis Mary Stevens and Charles Wayne Coffey.
