Autis was born Autis Belford Coffey on Jan. 9th, 1893 to Louis Jasper, and Alice Ann [Moulder] Coffey. He was united in marriage to Edith Estelle Tobey on Jan.9th, 1918 and shared 50 years with her before his passing on Feb. 12th. [1968] From this union was born Ila May, Charles Leslie, Emil Ray, Russell Glen and Paul Marvin. He lived in K.C. up till the time of his death. Before moving to K.C., he was a farmer and then after moving to K.C., he worked at Intercollegiate Press for years, along with other members of his family. Autis was also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Siblings for Autis are, Buford, George, Leslie, Millie May, Elza, Ila Mabel, Aubra, Shelby, and Lily Fay.

Edith E. Coffey, 96, Salida, Colo., formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died May 6, 1993, in a nursing home in Salida.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Maple Hill Chapel.

Mrs. Coffey was born in Barnumton, Mo., and lived in Kansas City, Kan., before moving to Salida in 1988. Survivors include two sons, Russell G. Coffey, Kansas City, Kan., and Charles L. Coffey, Camdenton, Mo.; a daughter, Ila Lister, Poncha Springs, Colo.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
