"Paul Marvin Coffey was born ,March 27, 1931 at Climax Springs, Mo.Camden County, to Autis Belford and Edith Estelle [Tobey] Coffey. He married Darlene McClain on June 20, 1954. in K.C. Ks.were they lived until moving back to the lake area in 1971. Children were Carolyn Kaye, Paula Diane, Paul David, Michael Hubert and Judy Lynn. other survivors are five granddaughters, two grandsons, three sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law. He worked at Ceco Steel and Inter-Collegiate Press in K.C. for many years and then in construction after moving to the lake.

"Siblings were Charles, Russell, [Emil] Ray, and Ila [Lister.]

"Paul and his youngest son, Mike, were both killed in an electrocution accident on Lake road 7-5 near their home, on Nov. 26th, 1983." [Carol Hall]

David ‘Tramp’ Coffey, 49

Paul David Coffey, son of Paul and Darlene (McClain) Coffey, was born on April 28, 1957, in Kansas City, Kan.

He departed this life Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, in Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., at the age of forty-nine years, seven months and 17 days.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and a brother, Mike Coffey.

David is survived by his mother of Camdenton; three sisters, Carolyn Hall and husband, Mike, of Anderson, Mo.; Paula Coffey of Camdenton; Judy Mahoney of Camdenton; five children, Tammy Krueger, Jennifer Cox, Paul Coffey, Danielle Coffey and Devon Coffey all of Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren, Dominic and Alyssa Krueger, and Nicholas and Ricky Cox of Kansas City, Kan.; six nieces and nephews, Mike Coffey, Chrissy Hall, Brenda Golden, Misty DuPont, David Coffey and Karen Baker; two former wives, Dora Coffey and Sherrie Coffey. 'Tramp' is also survived by his 'Brother and Sister Riders.'

He was born and raised in Kansas City, Kan. David attended Camdenton High School. He worked as an upholsterer through out his life and was an ordained minister. David had the honor of marrying several of his friends.

In his spare time, 'Tramp' as he was known by his 'Brother and Sister Riders,' had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. He and his riders would gather toy and food baskets around the holidays. They would also raise money for those in the community who were in need of help. He will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him.

David was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends.

Graveside services for David 'Tramp' Coffey will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Mistwood Cemetery near Camdenton, Mo., with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Mo.

Michael Hubert Coffey was born on 20 November 1961 in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS. He died with his father in an accidental electrocution on 26 November 1983 at the age of 22 in Camdenton, Camden Co., MO and was buried at Mistwood Cemetery in Camdenton, Camden Co., MO.31383

"Michael Hubert Coffey, was born Nov. 30, 1961, in Kansas City, Ks., Wyandotte County. He was the son of Paul Marvin and Myrtle Darlene [McClain] Coffey. Siblings were Carolyn Kaye, Paul David, Paula Diane, And Judy Lynn. He was also survived by one sister-in-law, three-brothers-in-law, 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Mike worked at Charlie's Market at Greenview through his high school years, and then in construction, up until the time of his death. He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1979. Mike died trying to save his dad who was also killed in the same electrocution accident near their home on lake road 7-5." [Carol Hall]
