She appeared in the census on 2 April 1930 in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.16248 Lula lived with her son Collis Hill Coffey in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 19 April 1940. Lula died of myocardial failure on 3 April 1961 at the age of 77 at home in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC.16249,16250,16251

Mrs. Loula Coffey

Lenoir, April 3 - Mrs. Loula Coffey, 77, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grady Sumter, in Lenoir. She was born in Caldwell County. Surviving, in addition to her daughter, are a son, Collis H. Coffey of Lenoir; two brothers, F. H. Coffey of Lenoir and J. C. Coffey of Deland, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
