Margaret Aleen Coffey Ford, 63, of Route 2, Hudson, died Saturdau, Feb. 10, 1990, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 7, 1926, in Caldwell County to the late Roby Coffey and Anna Lee Wright Coffey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Ford, Sr.

Mrs. Ford was a homemaker.

Survivors are three sons, John W. Ford, Jr. and Wincell Monroe Ford, both of Hudson, and Marvin Dale Ford of Lenoir; three daughters, Mrs. William (Annie) Smith of Granite Falls, Mrs. Pauline Dula and Mrs. Ira (Della) Bowman both of Hudson; a brother, Ray Coffey of Cullpepper, Va.; three sisters, Cora Lee Miller of Hudson, Mrs. Byner Coffey of High Point and Lotta Merle Hensley of Cullpepper, Va.; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. today at Bailey's Camp Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Shew and the Rev. Edd Warren officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. burial will be in Bolick Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Roger Smith, John Smith, James Dula, Douglas Dula, Mikeal Ford and John Clinton Ford.

Margaret Allene Coffey and John Wellington Ford were married on 12 July 1941 in Meat Camp, Watauga Co., NC.34573,34574 John Wellington Ford was born on 8 January 1923 in North Carolina. John died in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 7 September 1980.34575

John Ford Sr.

John Wellington Ford Se., 57, of Route 2 Hudson, died Sunday folliowing a sudden attack.

Born Jan. 8, 1923, he was a son of the late John Clinton and Barbara Bollick Ford.

A retired Century Furniture Co. employee, he was a member of Faith Baptist church in Hildebran, and a veteran of World War II.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Baileys Camp Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Wilcox and the Rev. Phillip Martin officiating. Burial will be in Ford Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Coffey Ford, of the home; son, John W. Ford Jr., Marvin Dale Ford, and Wincell Monroe Ford, all of Hudson; daughters, Mrs. Ira Della Bowman, of Hudson; Mrs. Roger Pauline Dula, of Lenoir, and Mrs. William Darlene Smith of Granite Falls; a brother, William M. Ford, of Blowing Rock; sisters, Mrs. Avery Ola Jackson, of Boone, Mrs. Pearl Woods and Mrs. Mary Woods, both of Blowing Rick; and 16 grandchildren.

The body will be taken from Greer-McPhaul Funeral Home today at 4 p.m. to the home of Wincell Ford, Route 2 Hudson.

John Ford, Jr.

John Wellington Ford Jr., 50 of 2860 Fairwood Drive, Hudson, died Monday, Dec. 9, 1996, at Catawba Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Watauga County to the late John Wellington Ford Sr. and Margaret Aleen Coffey Ford. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Della Mae Bowman.

Mr. Ford was a truck driver with Murrow's Trucking and a member of Celia Creek Baptist Church in Gamewell.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Pennell Ford of the home; one son, Larry Eugene Ford of Granite Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Mark (Lynn) Ford McCloud of Hudson; two brothers, the Rev. Marvin Dale Ford of Lenoir and Wincell Monroe Ford of Hudson; two sisters, Annie Darlene Smith of Granite Falls and Pauline Elizabeth Dula of Hudson; and six grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Celia Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Shew and Edd Warren officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in Bolick's Cemetery in the Blackberry community.

The family will receive friends today from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Celia Creek Baptist Church in Gamewell.

Pallbearers will be David Townsend, Paul Dishman, Buddy Shull, Richard Barlowe, Curtis Mathews and Buzz Bumgarner. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Shull and Robert Pennell.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell County Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St., Lenoir, N.C. 29645.

Della Mae Ford Bowman, 47, of Ford Lane, Hudson, died Sunday, March 12, 1996, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 23, 1947, in Caldwell County to the late John W. and Margaret Coffey Ford.

Mrs. Bowman was an employee of J & M Citgo where she worked in the deli.

Survivors include her husband, Ira V. Bowman Jr. of the home; five daughters, Virginia Ann Bowman and Karen Bowman, both of the home, Margaret Scronce, Mrs. Ricky (Margie) Jackson and Mrs. Gary (Sharon) Rowe, all of Hudson; three brothers, John W. Ford, Jr and Wincelle Ford, both of Hudson and Marvin Ford of Lenoir; two sisters, Darlene Smith of Granite Falls and Pauline Dula of Hudson; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bolic Family Cemetery in Blackberry with the Rev. Clifton Black officiating.
