Lenoir, Sept. 30-Funeral services for Roby Monroe Coffey, 74, of Route 1, Hudson, who died Thursday night at a local hospital following an extended illness, will be conducted at Boone Fork Baptist Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Born in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late Washington and Matilda Coffey. His wife, who died several years ago, was Miss Annie Lee Wright. He was a farmer and a member of Setzers Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are seven daughters, two sons, 50 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Annie Coffey

Lenoir, Dec. 11. - Mrs. Annie Lee Coffey, 66, of the Happy Valley community, died this afternoon following an extended illness.

She was a native of Watauga County, daughter of the late Thomas Wright and Margaret Coffey Wright. Funeral will be held at Boone Fork Baptist Church, Watauga County, Thursday at 2 p.m. Surviving are her husband, Robey Monroe Coffey; two sons, and seven daughters.

Roby Monroe Coffey and Anna Lee Wright had the following children:
