Madge Coffey was born on 30 June 1912 in Nelson Co., VA. She lived with her brother Clinton in Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA on 14 April 1930. She lived with her sister Ida May Coffey Bridge in South River Dist., Augusta Co., VA on 12 April 1940. Madge died on 7 December 2006 at the age of 94 at King's Daughters' Health and Rehabilitation Center in Staunton, Independent City., VA and was buried at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro, Independent City, VA on 11 December 2006.13239,13240

Madge Coffey, 94, formerly of 747 Mt. Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, Virginia, passed away Thursday morning, December 7, 2006, at King's Daughters' Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 30, 1912, in Nelson County, the daughter of the late John and Lucille Demastus Coffey.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lynside Mennonite Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Coffey, Andy Coffey, Luther Coffey, Dellie Coffey and Clint Coffey; her sisters, Effie Demastus, Clatis Everette and Ida Brydge.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Lynside Mennonite Church by the Rev. Marvin Kaufman. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Carlton Brydge, John Hailey, Robert Burkholder, David Harner, Billy Coffey and Thomas Coffey.

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.

Memorial contributions can be made to Lynside Mennonite Church, 648 Mt. Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
