Mrs. Mary Jane Coffey, age 96 of Lone Mountain, Tenn., was born October 4, 1915, and passed away February 6, 2012, at Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of Lone Mountain Baptist Church. Babysitting was her enjoyment. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Richard Bunch and Martha Cordelia Collins Bunch; husband, Lonnie Coffey; sisters Omega Bunch, Beulah Owens; brother Bill Bunch; children, bobby David, Eugene, Johnny Bill, Harold Dean "Pete" and Donnie Coffey.
She is survived by her son: Jimmy Richard "Dick" (Nema) Coffey of Canton, MI. Daughters: Rosemary Hatfield of Louisville, TN; Jewell "Linda" (Paul) Williams of Bristol, TN; Kandy (Vernis) Harville of Tazewell, TN. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sisters: Hattie Irene Bunch, Edna Pike, Willie Mae Wells. Brothers: Ralph "Streak" Bunch and Joe Bunch. And a host of other relatives and friends.
The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service at 8 p.m. Wednesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Jackson Cemetery.
