Etta died on 4 December 1952 at the age of 73 in Scott Co., TN and was buried at Litton Cemetery in Oneida, Scott Co., TN.11941

William J. "Willie" Coffey was born in 1908 in Scott Co., TN. William died in Oneida, Scott Co., TN on 27 December 1982. Litton Cemetery in Oneida, Scott Co., TN on 29 December 1982 .11942

Willie J. Coffey, 74, of Oneida, passed away suddenly Monday morning, December 27, at his home. He was the son of the late William Coffey and the late Etta Litton Coffey and was also preceded in death by one sister, Dena Coffey Smith; and two brothers: Mitchell Coffey and Jodie Coffey.

A member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, he worked for many years for the late Lee West in what is now the West-Murley Funeral Home.

Mr. Coffey is survived by one sister, Nan McElroy of Oneida; one brother, Dudley Coffey of Stearns, Ky.; two nieces: Mrs. Ellard (Jewell) Dobbs of Muncie, Ind., and Mrs. Martin (Phyllis) Charlot of Hawaii; four nephews: Hoyt Coffey of Muncie, Ind., Kenneth Coffey of Wichita, Kan., and William Denton Coffey and Larry David Coffey, both of Strearns, Ky.; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. The Bethlehem Baptist Church Choir sang. Burial followed in the Litton Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Vester Blevins, Robert Carson, Larry David Coffey, William Denton Coffey, James B. Cecil, and Odie Crabtree. Alternate pallbearer was Jerry Taylor.

West-Murley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
